Cannot for the life of me get my r9 290(non x) working with Yosemite 10.10.2 or 10.10.1

I have been trying to get this working for days, I have tried injecting a fake ID using clover with no luck. Thanks in advanced My build: CPU: i5 GPU: 2 * XFX Radeon R9 290 RAM: 32 GB
