Hi guys,
I have a problem regarding booting into Clover on an USB-Drive. I followed this guide
http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html
while creating the USB Drive. Only thing I did different was doing it in an VM.
After selecting the USB Drive in the boot menu the screen turns black and no Clover screen is popping up.
I have created the Clover USB Drive in Virtualbox and VMware. Same result. My Bios settings should be right (I have disabled CMS and selected other OS for Secure boot), because I downloaded a already bootable Mavericks + Clover .dmg which I transfered via TransMac to the USB. With this I was able to boot into Cover. Unfortunately starting the installation of Mavericks was not possible. I assume its because the Clover installation (kext and config) was not made with the necessary options for my hardware.
So, my question is, is it really possible to do this in a VM? And if yes, do I need to do something different then in the tonymacx86 tutorial?
Many thanks in advanced.
