Hey all,
Some of you may remember me posting asking about the status of this board working on OS X. And since I have yet to see a documented success story I decided to make this post.
Yes, this board supports OS X, and it's rather easy to set up. As recommended by u/amazinjoey, I patched the BIOS using UEFIPatch by CodeRush. And after that, everything was a breeze with Clover. My 290X worked out of the box, my overclock is registering, sound is working (Thanks Toleda!), and Ethernet works great. It feels amazing to have a fully functioning system with Native Power Management again. Note: I have not tested sleep, as I don't use it.

Fyi, this is my first time using clover.
If someone would like a full guide, I'd be more than happy to write one up, but for now I'm installing my second SSD to get windows 10 up and running in a dual boot config.
