Hey guys,
I am finally building my first Hackintosh and just wanted some quick tips from everyone here so I'm headed the right direction.
I am planning on using my computer as for daily use, gaming, and some photo-editing on the side. I would like to use Clover so that I can take advantage of everything OS X has to offer (like imessage, app store, etc)
I am building with an i7-4790k on a Gigabyte Gaming 3 Mobo.
So far, I am trying to learn and install 10.10 using Clover guides I have found throughout the internet.
I'm just stuck on which kexts to actually utilize. According to the Rampagedev guide and the guide found on Insanelymac
So far, I have determined that I need to utilize the following kexts:
- AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
- Clover ALC Script
- Rampagedev's SSDT
- FakeSMC.kext
I have had very little luck finding out which specific kexts I need to use and am hoping for some direction.
Is this all I need? Where else can I find additional resources for my specific build?
