Can anyone help me get surround sound to work? I am feeding sound via optical Toslink cable to a Yamaha rx-677 receiver but it only shows PCM with 2.1 channels. I tested several blu-rays with native DTS (using MacGo bluray player).
My rig is the recommend Customac Mini from last year including a Gigabyte H87N-WIFI motherboard. I tried several Multibeast configurations for my Realtek ALC892 card. I also tried changing several Mac audio settings but every time, I get only 2.1 channels.
I would appreciate any help! Thanks.
