Very new to Hackintosh. See other thread. I got a thumb drive. nstalled the Yosemite.Zone ISO onto it. It booted up and I think the OS installed on drive...but it fails when it gets to the halfway point under hackintosh zone.
Now I am reading where Yosemite.Zone is to be used in a VM?
I had a Mac VM already on my ststem using image of VMWare Yosemite. Main reason I am going to build a dual boot machine (Windows on 1 HD and Yosemite on other) is that the peformance of Yosemite under VM is awful. No graphics acceleration which ruled out Final Cut and programs like that.
So now Yosemite.zone ISO is used in VM and not to be directly installed on hard drive and boot up like a normal computer would?
