Hey all! Just tried to reinstall Yosemite using Unibeast and Multibeast. After installation, I updated to Security Update 2015-002, so the NVIDIA Web Drivers would stop complaining about incompatible OS and let me install them (driver version 343.02.02). So I ran Multibeast, applied the Security Update, and restarted my computer, and now whenever I try to boot into OS X either through the bootloader on my SSD or on the installation USB, it restarts the computer at some point during the kext loading phase. It displays an error which quickly disappears because the computer restarts. Any ideas as to how I can fix this? I'm not sure if I did something wrong with the Multibeast drivers or if the security update broke everything.
Here's my part list:
- Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H
- Intel i7-4790K 4.0 GHz
- EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+
- Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB
Here's what I installed in Multibeast:
- Quick Start > DSDT Free
- Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC1150
- Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party SATA
- Drivers > Disk > TRIM Enabler > 10.10.x TRIM Patch (SSD ONLY)
- Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.14.1364
- Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.14.1364 Plugins
- Drivers > Misc > USB 3.0 - Universal
- Drivers > Network > Atheros > AtherosE2200 thing
- Bootloaders > Chimera v4.0.1
- Customize > Boot Options > 1080p Display Mode
- Customize > Boot Options > Basic Boot Options
- Customize > Boot Options > Hibernate Mode - Desktop
- Customize > Boot Options > Kext Dev Mode
- !! Also enabled something here about Kext cache? !!
- Customize > Boot Options > Verbose Boot
I'm booting with flags -x -f -v nv_disable=1, which worked for me before (minus the -f, which I added to try to fix the kext problem).
Here's a picture of what the error looks like, sorry for the terrible quality, I had to take a screenshot of a video because the error disappeared so quickly: http://i.imgur.com/QUZlJfq.jpg
