Need Help - Upgrading Video Card - Do I need to make any major changes?

I am running Mountiain Lion ...

using a GA-Z77X-UP5 TH ... i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz

Going from GTX650ti to a GTX970

...I am assuming I will need to change settings in my unibeast? Whenever I mess with it and end up with a black screen....I kind of freak out and forget how to fix it. It's been a few years.... heh....

Any help at this point would be great xD
