I recently noticed a problem with the DVD. At the start system see DVD normally, it reads the disks but after some time (it is difficult to determine when) stops working and Yosemite have a little "weird" behaves. After "some time" it doesn't read disks. I cant go to Disk Utility, it ends on a beach ball, and the text "Collecting information about the disks" (something like that I dont) that lasts indefinitely. After I kill Disk Utility and try to open again it only jumping on a dock. None window or something. The same thing happens when I enter Mac--> Storage, it freezes. But when I enter in the report, system normally detects the DVD drive, doesn't crash or freeze (but i dont know why it say that DVD drive doesn't suport recording). If I reboot computer dvd works fine (for a some time)
