So I have an EVGA 960 coming tomorrow and am trying to prep my build for it- I've updated to 10.10.3 and have tried preinstalling the web drivers but am having no luck as it obviously can't find the card yet. I'm using a Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 which has no onboard graphics. Every guide I've seen for the other 900 series cards seems to involve using the onboard graphics to set everything up.
When I put the new card in tomorrow will it work well enough for me to reach the desktop and install the web drivers (i.e. low res no acceleration)? If not do I have any other options? I currently have a Sapphire 6850 1GB in there.
