My install works great, and I waited a long time before trying to update to Yosemite.
I downloaded Yosemite from the App Store, and made a new Unibeast USB. It boots up off the USB and gets to the apple screen where there is a loading bar. It gets about 20-30% over, and then screen goes black.
I am using GA-Z77X-UD5H & Nvidia 430 and never needed Kexts , DSDT or boot flags before.
I deleted the two files:
/Extra/modules/FileNVRAM.dylib /System/Library/Extensions/GenericUSBXHCI.kext
Then I modified the Boot.plist as mentioned in the walk through.
