Vertical Lines within Applications on Yosemite

I am running 10.10.1 on my AMD (yes I know that isn't the best for compatibility). I installed an NVIDA GeForce 210 with 1 GB.


When I launch applications such as Word, Acrobat, and others, I am getting vertical lines like this and this


What could be the problem here?
