I just upgraded my existing Hack from a GTX 670 to a GTX 970. It didn't work at first, but I downloaded the proper NVIDIA web driver and all is running well.

However, I noticed no difference in playback and rendering performance in DaVinci Resolve. Not little difference -- no difference.

...

I downloaded NovaBench and ran some tests in different configurations. Here's what I got with my old setup:

2015-05-30 22:09:46 +0000

Mac OS X 10.10.3

Intel Core i7 @ 3500 MHz

And here's with my new setup:

I dual boot OS X 10.10.3 and Windows 7. Out of curiosity, I ran the test in Windows:

Windows 7 Home Premium

Massive difference! What gives??

According to NVIDIA, my web drivers are up to date: GPU Driver Version: 10.3.7 (346.01.02f04)

My CUDA driver is up to date as well: CUDA Driver Version: 7.0.36

I have more information if it's applicable, but I don't want to clog this up too much. Please let me know anything you can think of. Thanks!
