Im planning on building Hackintosh that will operate both on mac and windows platform. At the moment I'm splitting my work on to two computers: MacBook Pro and Desktop Pc. Now I'm ready to take the next step and combine these two in a single and more powerful machine.
Will be using it only for my work which is graphic design, cad and 3d rendering + video editing. Might be overlocking.
Here are all the programs that i will be using:
AutoCad - ArchiCad - Rhinoceros - Sketchup - 3ds Max + Vray - Photoshop - Illustrator - AfterEffects - Premiere Pro - DaVinci Resolve

Concerns:
Overall compatibility vs operating systems
CPU cooler, as will be rendering large and complex scenes on GPU and if I plan to overlock
Power, would it be enough?
Can i use apple thunderbolt display?
Is crucia ballistix sport stable if using for 3d rendering?
Also, I'm located in Italy, and so far my selected mobo (Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4) isn't available, maybe there are other and less expensive alternatives?
