Hello!

Currently came into possession of an old iMac G5 with iSight (believe it's the MA200LL, not certain), that is insanely slow, and made the decision to degut and repurpose the casing for it.

As the depth of the case is only 3 cm give or take with the LCD on top of it, (and I'm feeling ambitious and trying to shove in a discrete GPU (low profile 750Ti) with some PCIE risers if space permits), I've decided on using thin mini-ITX boards suited just for the purpose of creating a DIY all in one computer.

The boards I'm currently looking at are the ASUS Q87T and the Gigabyte H87TN, paired with the i5-4570S for its med wattage and price.

Anyone have any idea on the compatibility/hackability of these parts? I've seen scattered successes across tonymacx86.com, but as far as it goes, it feels as if I'm venturing into foggy territory here.
