My laptop has a Celeron 1007U processor that boots the OS X Installer just fine. It has Intel HD Graphics (Ivy Bridge) that share a common architecture with the HD 4000 and similar graphics.
Online, when I try to look up if these graphics are compatible with OS X all I get is information about getting 4000/4400 working, information about HD 2500 or about the original HD Graphics (not the same as Ivy Bridge HD Graphics).
Does anyone here know anything about OS X and Ivy Bridge HD Graphics? I feel it should work since it's closely related to HD 4000 but I know very well how difficult OS X can be with particular hardware.
