So I spent my Memorial Day today looking at dozens of guides on how to get this setup correctly. None of them have helped me much so I figure I might as well try to get some direct help here.
So as the title says, I'm currently on my first Hackintosh rig which is an HP ProBook 4540s. I used Nyugenmac's Clover UEFI HP install tutorial to get everything working perfectly with OSX alone so if it comes down to it, at least I'll have OSX.
However now I've been experimenting more and I'm wanting to try and get Windows 10 and/or Ubuntu installed on here as well. From my reading, installing multiple OSes on one hard drive with partitions is not preferred and I understand that. However, that isn't something I can change right now. So I'm stuck with the one HDD for now.
My main problem right now is getting the boot options for the other OSes to appear in the Clover boot menu. I've tried using Clover configurator to no avail.
So my question is as follows: How do I proceed from here?
After all the guides I've read, I've just gotten conflicting information saying to do things one way or another. I'm not liking the Clover bootloader very much at all so would I have better luck using Chimera or Chameleon? The only reason I am even using Clover is because Nyugenmac's guide and the HP Installer Tool automatically puts it on. Should I look into replacing Clover and if so how do I go about that? I've already tried installing both the others and nothing seems to have changed at all even though all the guides say bootloaders usually just replace one another when one is installed.
