Today I built my first Hackintosh/Win8.1 system and I'm delighted to say that overall OS X is working perfectly apart from the GPU not working. I have to use nv_disable=1 to boot.
First off, its a MSI GTX 970 and it seems I'm stuck between the driver release for 14D136 and the current older driver 14D131 which Nvidia asks for when installing.
So has anyone solved this? How can I fool the system into thinking its 131 or the other way around?
Once this is sorted I think I'll have a fully good to go Hacintosh!
