Hello, I've been browsing R/hackintosh for a long while and after about five years of debate I'm finally pulling the trigger. I'm posting my build so I could get more help with the installation process and to avoid any mistakes. Any advise on what kexts to use or any custom install instructions I should follow besides what is included here in the unibeast install (http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/143976-unibeast-install-os-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html). Alternatively, should I try clover?
The only custom part of my install will be that both Windows 8 and OSX 10.10 will be installed on one SSD and I am going to use a Highpoint raid card for shared RAID 1 storage (I already own this card so why not) - I will have all my data backed up on a NAS as well. Since this is a work computer I need more than one backup strategy (NAS + RAID).
I will update this post with everything I did so that others could also benefit.
