Hi Reddit, I know you guys are good at solving problems so I figured I'd share my issue here.

It took me some troubleshooting to finally get Yosemite to install on my build. I had to disable some settings on my motherboard (Intel VT-d + cfg lock) and use some flags to get the USB to boot into the installer (flags = PCIRootUID=1 nv_disable=yes GraphicsEnabler=No -x). There was a few more flags I can't remember, when I get home from work I'll find them First boot post-installation works using the same flags as before the installation. At this point the system seems fine, I am locked at resolution 1024x768 with some graphic glitches, but speed wise things seem to be good. I worked through it to get multibeast configure and on reboot started receiving this error (see link below). I'm assuming this is related to some kexts I installed/didn't-install that I should have, though I may be wrong.

It may be worth nothing I took out my graphics card and did a reinstall which graphically did not have any issues and everything was WAY smoother, though using integrated graphics the installer failed. I am really looking to put my GTX 980 to work on OS X anyways.

If anyone has any fixes or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
