I bought a new hard drive for my Hackintosh build, as I want to have half of my computer running Windows 7, and the other half running Yosemite. For some reason when I try to run the installer from the USB, it won't recognise the HDD I just put in to install to, it will only see the USB. Although the boot screen recognises it, and Windows instantly started installing a driver for it when I just booted up.
Is it because the driver wasn't installed? Or do I maybe need to format it in order to have it work with the Yosemite installer?

CPU: Intel i7 Sandybridge Quad Core @2600K 3.4GHz
Memory: 16GB DDR3 1333MHz (2x8GB)

New Hard Drive: 1TB Seagate
