Can't install on x99 5820k w/ gtx 970

I'm booting with npci=0x2000 nv_disable -x -v but it still freezes on a line saying "IO80211Controller::dataLinkLayerAttachComplete(): adding AppleEFINVRAM notification" Gigabyte X99 Sli Plus i7 5820k Gigabyte G1 970
