Trying this GTS 450 1GB (my only reasonable spare card) on my ECS H67H2-M3 mobo, 8GB DDR3 1333, 1TB HDD. For some reason it works after upgrading to 10.9.4, then 10.9.5, then a few restarts later it dies :-(
I think it was installing FileNVRAM module, as there is built-in nvram working from memory. (boot flags appeared to get saved across reboots without filenvram).
Anyways, anyone with any experience with this particular card, can you give me a helping hand.
PS. Using Mavericks 10.9.5 + Chimera 3.x using myH*ck installer.
