I am using Niresh, but I have a OLD macbook that I might be able to use to install an official version of OS X if it comes down to that.
After I installed Yosemite-Zone on my computer (two partitions, OS X partition is 128gb, OS X Extended Journaling), I wasn't able to boot into OS X, cause it basically wasn't detected. The Niresh USB only shows itself, hd(0,1) Yosemite Zone. Going to disk utility in the installer shows that I have 8-9gb of space in use on the 128gb partition, which is the size of OS X. I assume this may be to my HDD, which I've read has so problems, so I'm willing to try another HDD (WD Caviar 80GB) if needed.
