I've had my hackintosh running on 10.9 with working iMessage for over a year. I somehow made it through the great iMessage bungle when Apple changed their security requirements. But I can't remember all the details of the stuff I did, NVRAM, SMBios, etc.
I'd love some pointers or directions to guides about how to not screw up the transition to 10.10. I'm okay with and was kinda planning on a fresh install. I'm assuming that's preferred over an upgrade.

However I don't even know where to start in that morass of information about how to keep iMessage going.
