I recently upgraded my computer from a gaming machine down to a smaller machine. I overwrote the system files with 10.10.4 and I was able to get everything to work except the Intel HD3000 graphics. Pertinent parts:
GA-H61N-USB3 F8
i5 2500K 3.3GHz
Correct DSDT installed from tonymacx86
When I boot with the Intel kexts in place, it stays on the verbose output (think white text black background) but random colored artifacts come up over it. Without the kexts in place, it boots to the login screen and I can use it but it's horribly sluggish.
This is not a mixed configuration (Sandy + 6 series) and I have tried adding my hardware IDs to the HD3000.kext and SNBFramebuffer.kext as many websites suggest.
Any help here? This is all that's left and it's really bugging me
