This is the first time in a long time I've had audio issues. I updated as usual following the instructions on tonymacx86. I reinstalled the ALC898 drivers (my motherboard is GA-77X-UP5 TH) using Multibeast, but when I restarted I had no audio. I tried this guide, but still nothing. Audio works if I boot into Windows, so it's not a hardware issue. Any ideas?
