Hey guys. Trying to install 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion) on my PC. The reason I'm installation 10.8.5 is due to compatibility for my DSP PCI software. Ive managed to get to the desktop before but after I installed clover on the HDD and other drivers problems started to happen.
Specs: Asus H97m-e Motherboard Intel 4790k 16GB G.Skill Ram Samsung 840 Pro 150gb SSD Asus Strix 970 GPU Lindy Firewire PCI-e Card UAD PCI-e DSP Card Dell u3011 30inch Monitor
Getting a lot of problems trying to boot. Mainly stuck on the dreaded "Missing bluetooth controller transport!" error.
I've tried many bootflags including the -s mount uw / .. etc, While that worked once, I could never get it to boot again after I tried installing clover to my HDD, constantly stopping at Missing Bluetooth controller support.
I've read elsewhere that this might be a graphics problem, so I'm currently running through CPU graphics, disconnected all the PCI cards including graphics, reset BIOS to default, the list goes on.
Any help would be appreciated
Also, I've reformatted the previous installation, reinstalled OSX 10.8.5, however the clover hdd installation/ EFI drive still shows up.
I wonder if they could be both interfering?
Might do a CMOS reset
