So I currently have a mid 2012 macbook pro that works just fine. It's actually in perfect condition. It's the maxed out model as well. I was planning on selling it in order to build a Hackintosb and buy a used macbook air. Do you guys think its a good idea? I mainly use osx for motion 5 and final cut pro x, otherwise windows has all the other applications I would need. So my question is should I sell my old laptop and do this or should I keep my laptop and save money for a newer Mac down the road?
