I have an old Dell XPS 13 M1330 I purchased at a garage sale a few months ago, and after getting bored of Windows 7 on it, I decided to try out Hackintoshing it. I set the SATA controller to AHCI, booted to my Yosemite UniBeast install flash drive, and it worked for the most part. Resolution was 1024x768, but that's to be expected since I don't have the 8400gs graphics kext installed yet. At first it seemed fine. I formatted the disk, started the install, and it got a little way in before my mouse movement started to slow down and become choppy. Eventually the bar stopped moving, and so did the mouse pointer. I gave it a reboot and tried again. Same problem, worked for a while and then slowed to a stop. Tried a few bootflags, but nothing works. Are there any bootflags you think I should try? Does my hardware just plain suck? Should I try an older OS X?
