So my PC was originally a windows build; but then I purchased a separate SSD to install Yosemite on and it has been working perfectly except for Dropbox.

Configuration:

  • SSD #1 -> Windows
  • SSD #2 -> Yosemite
  • HDD -> Where my Dropbox folder has always resided since the start.

I use Paragon in order to read and write to an NTFS drive from OSX (the HDD).

When I installed Dropbox on my OSX SSD, I set the dropbox folder to the same spot on the HDD where I use it on Windows.

Which works, but whenever I boot into either OS dropbox needs to re-sync EVERYTHING. Which is not correct.

I have a feeling it has something to do with Paragon when it mounts the drive, that it somehow "modifies" every file in it so then Dropbox thinks it needs to re-sync..

Has anyone else came accross this issue or have a solution for me?

Thanks.
