I'm using Atheros ar9285 on a z97n-wifi mobo to get WiFi as well as bluetooth. Both WiFi and Bluetooth works fine OOB, but when using the magic trackpad, no gesture that uses more than 3 fingers get registers, and not only that, but the trackpad disconnects for approx. 5 sec. Solution; use bluetooth usb. I'm using the Trust 18187-03, however, when using it all bluetooth devices loose power after some time, and reconnect immediately after.
