This also got my Bluetooth (permanently deactivated) working again by doing the same covering pin 51. I have since removed the cover on pin 51 and Bluetooth is still working.
My current laptop does not have a whitelist, so I cannot test it personally, but covering pin 20 does not affect WIFI working perfectly. It has been tested on four or five laptops successfully tho. YMMV.
