I built this hackintosh 3-4 years ago, don't remember but it's still running 10.7.3. I would be fine with that but a new audio interface isn't compatible so I'm forced to upgrade to a newer version of OSX.
I don't even remember the name of the tool I used to originally install this but it was recommended here and I'm guessing it has fallen out of popularity since I can't find it searching around. What was popular around 2011-2012? It was very clean and simple.
So anyway do I have to do a fresh install or is there any way to do an upgrade? I'm really not looking forward to having to reinstall a bunch of apps and tons of audio VSTs...
