I finally bit the bullet, and installed latest Clover onto my Acer Aspire 4752 (to go along with my two desktops recently converted to Clover). Downloaded and installed Config.plist-standard, set it up with minimal settings... Used Intel Inject, which was wrong (had 4 screens on startup, but could just manage to use CConfigurator to disable Intel Inject.
Copied FakeSMC to Kexts/10.9 Copied DSDT.aml and ssdt.aml to ACPI/Patched
Everything else working nicely indeed. Sound/WIFI/Video etc etc.
Will test more (USB/HDMI/Sleep) tonight/Sunday when I get time
