I have this motherboard and Yosemite is running well. It installed flawlessly once I set the RAM to 1600 MHz and secure boot to "other OS". I used Multibeast (latest version) which didn't have ALC 891 which this motherboard has listed. I instead installed the latest Voodoo HDA, but this caused a kernel panic when booting so I had to uninstall that kext. I found some threads online like this one but there are no solutions.
Since this is a fairly popular LGA1150 motherboard, has anyone got any ideas on how to get sound working?
I personally have no graphics card currently installed and an i5 4670, but some people online have had the same problems with different 1150 configurations.
