[Help] GTX 980 not detected and doesn't boot without safe mode.

I built my 2nd hackintosh last night, and am having issues getting my 980 to work. The system will boot with

-x nv_disable=1 

I was able to install the Nvidia web drivers, but the nvidia driver boot flag does not allow me to boot outside safe mode. About this Mac also show a generic display device. I think I may have to boot from the integrated graphics, but am not certain. If anyone could provide some insight, or had a similar issue, I would appreciate the help.
