I installed Yosemite with Unibeast as I've done it many times and gotten into the swing of it. Then I downloaded and installed Clover, rebooted, and opened iMessage. It activated fine and the texts I send from my iPhone appear on the Hack and vice versa. No issues.
However, considering I didn't use any of the long "iMessage Fix" instructions posted everywhere to get it working, is it safe to use it without any particular risk of account blacklist, and do system updates tend to break this? I am on 10.10 but would like to update to 10.10.5 (it's been non-problematic before aside from some kexts needing updated versions).
In other words, why did I not have to go through the iMessage fix procedure and what should I be aware of consequentially since I didn't?
