TLDR: Hackintosh freezing because of USB devices that are plugged in. Offering a $100 gift card for permanent, tested fix.
Sunday afternoon I posted a request for assistance with my hackintosh that is having a serious problem where immediately after boot or a few minutes after boot, the machine will completely freeze.
After an ASTOUNDING response from the community, I compiled a list of recommendations. I got so many great response that I am going to tweak the original deal ($100 dollars for a permanent fix for the issue) slightly so that everyone who gave a thoughtful and lengthy response up until this point, will be receiving a reward (obviously a smaller one). The $100 has not been awarded yet.

While I was trying out each of the recommendations and continuing my own research I stumbled upon what I believe to be the ACTUAL ISSUE!
The problem is my USB devices/ports!
Right now with only my music tools plugged in, minus my 2 external hard drives and the 6 port Hub, this thing is running beautifully.
First, allow me to list my USB devices that I would LIKE to have plugged in and completely usable. I'd also like to be able to unplug them at any time or plug something else in at any time:
1) 2TB Western Digital My Book External Hard Drive
2) 1TB Western Digital My Passport External Hard Drive
3) Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB Audio Interface
4) Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 MIDI Keyboard
5) Native Instruments Maschine MK2 / Ableton Push (interchangable)
6) 6 Port Powered USB Hub
Here is the behavior when messing with the USB devices and ports:
1) When all USB devices unplugged -- THE HACKINTOSH WORKS 100% WOOOHOOOOO! Oh wait....no no USB devices is not acceptable
2) Plugging in any USB devices while the hackintosh is on causes the signature freeze that this whole thing has been about.
3) Unplugging while the Hackintosh is on may or may not cause a freeze (50/50 chance)
4) When nothing but the 2TB Western Digital is plugged in, the freezing is consistent when plugged into certain ports
5) The audio interface appears to have no effect on the machine. The keyboard has no effect IF IT IS TURNED ON BEFORE the Hackintosh is booted.
Thats where I stopped testing. All of the USB ports are 3.0 on the back (where this is all occuring).
So the deal for $100 dollars is still on. Someone who can provide me with a detailed and tested fix for this USB freezing issue will receive a $100 gift card (Can be anything from Amazon to Steam to McDonalds, I don't care).
Just like last time, I will be available consistently for providing logs, drawing diagrams, etc.
