I have finally got my laptop working with Yosemite 10.10.4 and it is all stable apart from a few things like brightness (which I am planning to attack with a DSDT patch when I can figure out how to). The most annoying problem that I am having is that when I use a patched AppleHDA for my audio chipset (alc283) there are no devices detected in audio settings - the AppleHDA is the correct version from Mirone. The only way that I am getting audio is through VoodooHDA, which is far from ideal. Also, I am booting with clover so kext patches using it are not out of the question.
Anyone have any ideas?
