Finally got my dual boot hackintosh working, after first trying clover, then unibeast/clover, finally clover again. So just a quick guide to anybody with my same setup, as it took me 2 days figuring things out as a noob. Read this first!

My previous setup: UEFI Windows 10 on SSD, looking to add yosemite on another SSD

Pre-setup Disconnect all other drives, except the ssd to install yosemite on.

  1. Follow this until you reach part 5. Made it easier for you, just type this into terminal (replace with your usb name): sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/YOURUSBNAMEHERE --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app --no interaction

  2. Part 6: Step 6, just copy/paste/replace the generic config for haswell. Step 12, add fake smc to your 10.10 folder. and your ready to remove usb.

  3. For my bios settings, I used what it says here , in addition, bios features>windows 8>CSM support>disable , then change windows 8 feautres to other os , save and exit

  4. Now Insert usb into 2.0 port, and connect via DVI PORT(IMPORTANT!) and you should automatically go to the clover main page (i.e no need to change boot order).

  5. Choose options, and come down to boot argv, press enter, and you will be able to type. kext-dev-mode=1 will already be there, so press space and add -v nv_disable=1

  6. Once you reach installer page, then go on till part 11. For PART 11, do the same as what you did before, options>boot argv etc...

  7. Now we need to install clover to the boot ssd. So follow this the part where it says Install Clover to Your Hard Drive

  8. Finally you will have Yosemite running without usb. However it will be very laggy , and will stutter!!

    1. Get this and install on yosemite. Now you will have to restart, and once on the clover main page, go to options, and add this line into the boot argv: nvda_drv=1 , and then once you reach the login page you will notice NO STUTTER!

9: Now to get the ethernet working, follow this where it says "Onboard Atheros E2201 NIC" . - - -Just to clarify, download the atheros driver, follow this to add it to your extentions folder, then run those commands from the "Onboard Atheros E2201 NIC" guide. - - -

FOR NOW I STOPPED HERE, WILL UPDATE TILL I GET EVERYTHING WORKING, AND HOPEFULLY AN APP THAT WILL PAY FOR THIS MACHINE LOL
