Applying NullCPUPM.kext

Hey,

I need to add NullCPUPM.kext or AICPUM.kext to my extensions because of my (I think?) sandybridge CPU. Once this is in System/Extensions, do I need to do anything to enable it? Do I need to add it to a boot file, or change permissions or anything before placing it in my lappy?
