Hi guys, So I posted a while back because I couldn't get my mic input to work. Still no luck, but I have been playing around with everything so I'm gonna post a lot of information here. I really wanna get this figured out. If you need any additional information let me know.
Motherboard: GA-Z87MX-D3H
Audio: Realtek® ALC892 codec, High Definition Audio, 2/4/5.1/7.1-channel, Support for S/PDIF In/Out
Boot: Clover
I use an SSDT. Although, I'm honestly not sure if my DSDT does anything...
So right now I have a patched kext, which I'd like to avoid this time around. I can pull the original kext from my rMBP (both run 10.10.5).
Here's what I've tried (starting with the native kext from my rMBP):
this tonyMac post: I tried Piker-Alpha and Toleda methods
My goals with this:
Actually get mic input working
keep the AppleHDA.kext native
Sorry for all the information. If you need anymore feel free to ask. I have everything else is more or less working. Just need audio/mic.
