Can I update to 10.11 on Yosemite and then apply Multibeast as if it was a normal update?

Usually when upgrading from 10.10.3 to 10.10.4 etc I updated via the combo update and then ran multibeast immediately after and everything worked flawless upon reboot.

I have far too many VSTs and plugins that i'd need to reinstall if I were to clean install 10.11.

Can I download 10.11 via the app store, install it and then run multibeast to configure it and expect it to work?
