Hi,
I have been having this issue for a while now but have only now got around to trying to fix it. Basically I had a fully stable hackintosh on my laptop (i5-4210u with everything working, including PM) and then for some reason it failed to boot one day. I was stumped and then reinstalled Yosemite. Short after getting everything working again and installing windows as a dual boot this same issue has cropped up again. This is where the boot process got to: http://imgur.com/cqYSYvs before I did some troubleshooting. I ran the installer again and repaired the disk permissions of the OSX partition and it now boots, albeit slowly up to a black screen with the Apple logo on, with a working cursor but nothing else. It then proceeds to stay at this screen: http://imgur.com/a/pLRQs (the bottom picture - the top two are following some other advice). Does anyone have any ideas?
PS: I hadn't changed anything or updated anything on the hackintosh for over a month, with it working fine until I used solely Windows for about a week, without booting OSX and this happened.
