Hello dear wise people,
I'm quite baffled by this problem: if I turn my computer on and just let the clover boot screen load, I am stuck without chance of giving any input*. A good workaround? I just enter the UEFI config screen (holding Delete at boot) and leave it: now when the clover boot screen appears everything is fine!
...I have no idea what's going on. Also, the history of my Hack is quite..messy (if I remember correctly, I originally installed - I think 10.8? - via Tonymac's, then upgraded to 10.10 via Clover but it was a mess, then TRIED to downgrade to 10.9 obtaining.. a perfectly working version of 10.10. Whoa, I'm surprised it actually works).
As for the specs: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3, Intel i5 4690K, 16GB Ballistix, Samsung 840 Evo (OSX), Samsung 850 Evo (Win), Seagate 4TB (backup and stuff) - still no graphics card -

*(i'd say it's simply frozen, but long time ago when this happened once the OS had already loaded I noticed that everything was running happily, I just could not use mouse or keyboard in any way)
