I have a Dell Inspiron 3847 that I'm considering installing OSX on. Hardware seems reasonably compatable: i5-4460, Intel HD 4600, and a TL-WDN4800 wireless card.
My question though is, assuming the installation goes well and all the hardware is working as expected, what does the upkeep look like? Is this something I'd be constantly hacking at to keep it running? Or if I want to run a stable OSX install should I just get a Mac Mini ?
