I recently completed an El Capitan hack on an i5-2500k + GA-Z68XP-UD3P + GTX960 build via Clover v3270. I have gotten everything to work so far: sound, video, etc, on the iMac12,2 system definition. I am currently using a generated SSDT.sml and NOTHING in the ACPI section of Clover's config except for Halt Enabler and SSDT Drop OEM.

My problem is that my system seems to shut down too quickly. I don't get any error messages on boot, but I do see an empty 'recovered files' directory in my trash on every single boot. I find this annoying because I can't figure out how to fix this. I want to note that I don't seem to have this problem when I use the MacPro6,1 system definition, but when I use that sysdef my USB ports don't work properly. Am I understanding it correctly that if I use an UEFI bios that I don't need any DSDT fixes/patches at all, or do I need to enable something to get this mild problem to go away?
