Hello all,

I have run into a few problems trying to install OS X 10 on my custom system using the tonymacx86 UniBeast tutorial.

  1. When attempting to install from the USB, the installation froze near 20%. After a little research, I found out using a USB 3.0 wasn't stable, so I switched to a 2.0.

  2. Upon restarting, I received no visual output when connecting to my graphics card. The only solution was to remove the card and connect directly to the mobo HDMI output, which worked.

  3. After finishing the installation of drivers with MultiBeast, I attempted to replace the graphics card. I received the same error where no signal was being sent through.

  4. Upon removal of the card a second time, I started to receive CPU Fan Errors, claiming my CPU fan was not functioning properly. I used a Kuhler H20 liquid cooler: the fan connected to the chasis was spinning at max rpm, and I believe that the pump was operating properly, as the tube carrying liquid away from the CPU was hot. However, the CPU was getting very hot just resting at BIOS.

  5. I have removed the graphics card, the SSD containing OSX, and replaced the SSD containing Windows. Upon boot up, I receive the same CPU Fan Error, and I am unable to start windows. When manually selecting the (only) boot device with Windows, the computer attempts to boot but bounces back to the BIOS moments later with no error message.

Anyone have this sort of experience? Any tips on how to get my computer back in operation? At this point, I am just hoping to get it running Windows again. These errors are very concerning, as I am having issues in pre-boot operations.
