Okay, so I have an old iMac, but it has a fried power supply, and I can't get anything off of the hard drive. Anyway, a friend of mine got a copy of Yosemite and El Capitan for me. However, it's not two .dmg files, it's two folders labeled "Install OS X ____.app"
How can I create bootable install media from this? AFAIK, I think TransMac can create DMG files, but I'm not familiar with how to do this to make an install DMG. Would I Add in the whole .app folder?
